DOME-Derived Flight-System Concept

This is a concept for a UV-DIAL lidar instrument for atmospheric science. The telescope has a deployed primary mirror with the following characteristics:

  • Total Collecting Area ~ 2.5m2
  • Areal Density ~ 24 kg/m2
  • Total Telescope Mass ~ 60 kg
